What this site does
You pick a service, enter a ZIP code and answer two quick questions. The site then shows the businesses that cover your area: businesses that run on Callbook first, then other local businesses found by a live web search that you can call or visit directly. If a business on Callbook covers you, you can send a request through the site and receive a written estimate before anything is scheduled.
Alongside the search there are plain-language problem guides, cost and hiring guides for each trade, brand pages and seasonal checklists. They exist so you can understand a problem before you talk to anyone about it.
Who runs it
Callbook builds software for small home service businesses: an AI phone receptionist, scheduling, estimates, invoicing and field tools. The customer site is run by the same company. Businesses that use Callbook can choose to be listed here; nobody is listed without opting in.
What listed businesses commit to
Scope and price are confirmed before you approve a visit. Any diagnostic or trip fee is stated up front.
Appointments are booked into a window, and you are told if it changes.
You can send a request as a guest. Giving a contact method is not a newsletter sign-up.
Photos are optional, visible only to authorized reviewers, and removed after 90 days.
What this site is not
It is not a review site, a lead-selling marketplace or a guarantee of any business’s work. Web results shown under the Callbook businesses are sourced from the open web; they are not vetted, booked or paid by Callbook, and you should confirm the work, service area and availability with them directly. Prices in guides are typical ranges, not quotes.
